Purehondurastours is a project which wants to unite the traveller with the local. Honduras is country where The Tourism Industry is nonexistent. Except for the Bay Islands, where tourism has been exploited by foreign companies mostly. We are a local company, with local guides and local goals and dreams. Travelling with us is a big benefit for the country because all the money stays here.
This is a project born in the poor neighborhoods of Tegucigalpa, capital of Honduras. We dont aim to creating a false reality of our country, we aim to show you the most important places from our point of view, the local point of view of our country.
We want to benefit others along our paths. Local farmers, artisans, tourguides, drivers, cooks, single mothers and families that we know are good people with a lot of talent and passion for what they do.
